Housecleaning Policy 2024
This policy is being issued so that our customers know what to expect from our service.
Current Customers: Thank you for your service. The issuing of this policy is not intended as a complaint but as a reminder and an avenue of communication.
In addition to regular cleaning (dusting and polishing, cleaning kitchen and baths, vacuuming and cleaning floors) we offer seasonal deep cleaning, window cleaning, and carpet and upholstery cleaning services. We use our chemicals and equipment to effectively clean your dwelling.
We are fully insured for your peace of mind.
We are a cleaning service, not a maid service, so the customer will need to have things picked up and put in general order before we come. This saves you, the customer, money.
Our purpose is to clean, so we cannot be responsible for children or those who are not independent, living in the home while we clean. This includes elderly citizens and pets. You may reschedule if someone is sick.
There is an extra charge for getting the house or apartment into shape for regular maintenance. This includes but is not limited to clearing cobwebs, dusting down baseboards and walls, cleaning lights and any other areas requiring a thorough cleaning prior to a regular service. This initial charge is different for every house and situation.
After the initial cleaning, the customer is charged for regular maintenance. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly services. The rates vary based on the size of the dwelling, number of occupants (including pets), usage of the home, frequency of service, and cleaning tasks.
Extra charges may be submitted for extra use or when a service is missed although the house was occupied by people or pets. Pet messes are the responsibility of the customer.
We are a thorough housecleaning service, but if something was not cleaned, please tell us.
Please do not expect us to move objects over 50 lbs. or to stand on chairs or ladders to clean, so that we may avoid injuries.
Regarding curio items, we will do the best we can to dust in and around them, but the items themselves are the responsibility of the customer to maintain.
Our company or the customer has the right to terminate our service at any time for any reason, but we desire at least a two-week notification.
Payment for cleaning is cash only and due the day of the service. * You may leave it on a counter or table. Customers need not be present at the time of the service; a key or another method of entry is all that we require.
